LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT
Event Name: The Creative Easel Inner Circle Retreat
Event Date(s): August 16 - August 22, 2025
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:
Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation in The Creative Easel Inner Circle Retreat ("the event") is voluntary, and I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the event.
Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in activities during the event, including but not limited to workshops, networking sessions, business coaching, manifestation sessions, and other related activities, involves inherent risks of physical injury or harm. I assume all such risks, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, including those arising from the negligence of the event organizers, sponsors, or any other participants.
Medical Treatment
I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of an injury, accident, and/or illness during the event. I understand that I am responsible for my own medical care and expenses and release all persons associated with the event from any and all claims, liability, and damages arising from my participation.
Transportation
I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own transportation to and from the airport and the retreat venue. The event organizers are not responsible for any travel delays, missed flights, or transportation-related issues.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Lori Miller, The Creative Easel, and any employees, contractors, affiliates, or representatives of the event ("the released parties") from any liability for injury, loss, or damage that may arise out of or be related to my participation in the event, whether caused by the negligence of the released parties or otherwise.
Personal Property
I understand that I am responsible for the security and care of my personal belongings during the event. The event organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Photographs and Recordings
I understand that photographs, videos, and other recordings may be made during the event, and I grant permission for these to be used for marketing, promotional purposes, and other materials related to the event without compensation or additional consent.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the released parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, brought as a result of my participation in the event.
Severability
If any portion of this liability waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Payment Terms
- All payments are final and nontransferable.
- If the participant is unable to attend the Retreat in August 2025 after payment is made, no refund is permitted.
- The participant may be able to apply the payment toward a future event with Lori Miller, provided they contact Lori within 30 days of the event to arrange for a transfer.
Earnings Disclaimer
Lori Miller and The Creative Easel Inner Circle do not guarantee any specific level of earnings or success. While we provide resources, strategies, and support to help you grow your business, your results depend on your dedication, skills, and market conditions beyond our control. Any earnings or income examples shared are for illustration purposes only and should not be considered typical. We encourage you to make informed decisions and take responsibility for your own business success.
